Rekha has been making regular public appearances in recent times. After attending Dior’s Mumbai show, the veteran actor was seen mingling with Bollywood celebrities including Aishwarya Rai and Kajol at the opening weekend of the Nita Mukesh Ambani Cultural Centre. On Monday, Rekha was spotted at fashion designer Manish Malhotra’s residence in Mumbai. She posed alone with the paparazzi and Manish before leaving the house.

A video posted by a paparazzo on Instagram caught the attention of people, many of whom could not take their eyes off Rekha’s look. In the clip, after Manish asks the photographers why they are still working, and says ‘it’s 12.30 now’, Rekha with folded hands tells the photographers, “So jaao (go and sleep now).” The veteran actor wore a beige outfit with matching headgear. He also wore black sunglasses.
Commenting on her video, an Instagram user wrote, “Why is she wearing goggles at night and can anyone tell why she is running?” Another wrote, “Looks like she’s hiding herself…” Another asked, “What hat is she wearing?” A fan also wrote about Rekha, “She is the evergreen queen, no one can replace her beauty.” Reacting to Rekha’s latest pictures on Twitter, a user asked, “What look is this? ”
Last month, Rekha attended Dior’s pre-fall fashion show in a red and gold saree with statement jewelry and tied her hair in a neat bun with gajra (flowers). The fashion gala was attended by several celebs including Anushka Sharma, Virat Kohli, Sonam Kapoor, Ananya Panday, Isha Ambani, Radhika Merchant, Mira Rajput and Shweta Bachchan.
Christian Dior’s creative director Maria Grazia Chiuri met Rekha for the first time before the fashion show.
