When she attended the Met Gala for the first time in a white gown, actress Alia Bhatt stole the show. Online users discovered a number of images and videos of the actor taken outside the event. In one of the videos, Alia’s supporters began applauding her as she left the location. She shook his hand while grinning.

She was outside the venue when several of her supporters started calling her name. Aaliya gave a kiss and a handshake before turning around. We love you, some of the crowd yelled. The performer yelled back, “I’m grateful. I also adore you.” She giggled and created a heart with her hands as well. “Looking very gorgeous like an angel in white,” a fan commented in response to the video. Wow, a different person said. One remark said, “Looking lovely.”
Alia chose an ivory ball gown for the occasion that was adorned with 100,000 Indian-sourced pearls. Alia wore an ivory Atelier Prabal Gurung ball gown with an exaggerated Basque waist, satin face organza, and hand-beaded pearls. Alia posted a couple images from her Instagram debut at the Met Gala on Tuesday.
She wrote as the caption: “Karl Lagerfeld’s A Line of Beauty at the Met Gala. I’ve always found the legendary Chanel brides to be fascinating. Karl Lagerfeld’s brilliance is seen in the most avant-garde and breathtaking couture season after season. Tonight’s Look The 1992 Chanel bridal ensemble worn by supermodel Claudia Schiffer served as its chief inspiration.”
Alia further remarked, “I wanted to create something that was proudly manufactured in India and felt authentic (hey, pearls!). The 100,000 pearl embroidery was a labor of love for @prabalgurung. Wearing you Happening makes me incredibly proud. for our first encounter. A female can never have too many pearls, as well as the appropriate accessories to finish the appearance, in our case a pearl bow in my hair. For my Chop-Ed, it’s white, too.”
The iconic German fashion designer Karl Lagerfeld, who passed away in 2019 at the age of 85, was honored at the Met Gala this year. The dress code was “in honor of Karl” and the topic was “Karl Lagerfeld: A Line of Beauty”.
