Many images of Deepika Padukone, Ram Charan and his wife Upasana, and Maitreyi Ramakrishnan from the Oscars after party have been released by actor, comedian, and producer Mindy Kaling. On Instagram on Tuesday, Mindy shared pictures of herself with Naomi Scott and Simone Ashley.
In the first image, Deepika is standing behind Mindy Kaling as she beams while taking a selfie. In the image, Deepika was dressed in a black gown, and Mindy was seen wearing a black dress.
Upasana and Mindy appeared in Ram Charan’s following photograph. When posing for the camera, everyone is smiling. Ram is shown in the image sporting a green jacket, while Upasana is sporting a black frock. Mindy was spotted wearing a golden gown.
In the final image, Mindy smiles as she poses with Maitreyi, Simone, and Naomi. Couldn’t be more starstruck by these brown beauties, Mindy captioned the photo. Simone left a crimson heart emoji as her reply to the post. “Here’s to brown greatness,” wrote Maitreyi.
Upasana shared Mindy’s post on her Instagram stories and added: “You are a true inspiration to so many women, @mindykaling. More power to you (emojis for a hug and a red heart).”
Two Indian productions—RRR and The Elephant Whispers—won the Oscars, making it a significant day for India. The Best Original Song award went to RRR’s song Naatu Naatu. Guneet Monga’s The Elephant Whispers won the prize for best documentary short.
Deepika performed as a presenter on the Oscars stage for the first time. In the middle of deafening acclaim, he welcomed the Natu Natu singers to the stage before their performance and explained the song to the crowd.
