The newest mother in Bollywood, Alia Bhatt, recently discussed the changes in her life over the past ten years. Aaliya thought back to the times when she was willing to give anything for her job. This is no longer the case, though.

With Student of the Year, Alia made her acting debut, later going on to become one of the most popular actors. At the height of her career, she celebrated a decade in the business, wed Ranbir Kapoor, and embraced motherhood with Raha Kapoor.

He responded by describing how his priorities at work have changed over the course of his time in the field. Aaliya said to Femina, “This decade has changed a lot in my life as I cross a decade in cinema. I believe there was a time when I was willing to give up everything, including time with my family and sleep, in order to work and shoot nonstop. I am now a family man. My daughter is my child. I’ve got a husband. I also want to be able to spend the past ten years I haven’t been able to with my parents, my sister, and my friends.
“Of course, never stop working, but make an effort to maintain a healthy balance. So, yes, I consciously chose to be present as part of my decision. I feel like we’ll frequently be talking on the phone, working things out, or doing other random things instead of working. I therefore find a lot of balance when I have nothing planned by not even looking at my phone. I test it. I sometimes succeed and sometimes I utterly fail.

Alia will be next seen in Karan Johar’s comeback directorial ‘Rocky Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahani’. She is reunited with her Gully Boy co-star Ranveer Singh in the film. The starcast includes Shabana Azmi, Dharmendra and Jaya Bachchan. It will be released in theaters on 28 July.
Alia is also awaiting the release of her first international film, Heart of Stone. The Netflix film stars Gal Gadot and Jamie Dornan. It will be released on 11 August.
