Zeenat Aman, a contemporary, paid tribute to the late Bollywood actress Parveen Babi in an Instagram post. The Shaan actress received a birthday card from Zeenat in which she was referred to as “the most attractive, elegant, and accomplished actress.”
In the 1970s, Parveen had one of the most daring and glamorous cinematic personas. Zeenat also discussed the parallels that people in the 1970s recognized between them.
Parveen began her career in show business by modeling after being born on April 4th, 1954. With “Charitra,” he made his acting debut in 1973.
But after receiving praise for her performance in “Majboor,” she went on to find success in movies like “Deewar,” “Amar Akbar Anthony,” and “Namak Halaal.”
In addition to Danny Denzongpa, Parveen has had relationships with Kabir Bedi and Mahesh Bhatt.
On January 20, 2005, her body was discovered at her apartment in Juhu, Mumbai.
Zeenat and Parveen were regarded as the decade’s most fashionable actresses in the 1970s and 1980s. They collaborated on “Ashanti” and “Mahan.”
Zeenat wrote a loving letter for Parveen and her. She is the singer of numerous successful songs, including “Satyam Shivam Sundaram,” “Hare Rama Hare Krishna,” “Qurbani,” “Dhund,” “Don,” “Manoranjan,” and “Yaadon Ki Baaraat.”
On Instagram, she posted the note and discussed how they were similar: “I would like to remember and respect Parveen on her birthday today. Parveen was stunning, glam, and gifted. We used to adore western fashion and wear our hair like this back in the 1970s. We were told that there was an eerie likeness between the two of us, but neither of us saw it. Given that I received calls last year from “Parveen Ma’am” in Dubai, it must have been accurate.
Understandably, at the time, the media fabricated tales of our rivalry and competition, but in reality, Zeenat and I were always friendly with one another. Not the closest of friends, but rather peers, associates, and well-wishers. Together, we have accomplished work in Mahan and Ashanti.
Speaking of the battle and Parveen’s sickness, he stated, “Parveen’s battle with mental illness occurred at a period when the nation was still so callous and uninformed on these subjects. I frequently worried how she was remembered when she passed away. The tabloids concentrated on Parveen’s love life and “episodes,” but she was much more than the men she dated or the things she said when she was ill. I suppose he was never really given the opportunity to speak.
About her accomplishments, Zeenat Aman said: “She was smart, diligent, and creative. She loved to read, and I can still picture her cuddled up with a book on the set in between takes. He even made the cover of Time Magazine because to his phenomenal acting accomplishment.
“Parveen was extraordinary in so many ways, and I hope she will be remembered for the beautiful person that she was,” the actress continued.
