Pathan, starring Shah Rukh Khan, debuted on OTT last week after a successful run in theaters. The Siddharth Anand movie, which also features Deepika Padukone and John Abraham, has amassed 1046 crores in worldwide box office revenue, making it the highest-grossing Hindi movie ever. Yasir Hussain, a former actor and current screenwriter from Pakistan, recently voiced his opinion of the movie online, calling it a “storyless video game.”

Yasir Hussain reviewed Pathan online and compared it to a video game.

“If you have seen the first Mission Impossible,” Yasir wrote on his Instagram story on Friday, “you will feel that Shah Rukh Khan’s Pathan story is like less video game, nothing more.”Yasir's Instagram story on Pathan from Friday.

On March 22, Pathan made its digital debut on Amazon Video. Five additional sequences that were not included in the theatrical version are included in the OTT version as well. On January 25, the action movie opened in theaters. A RAW agent named Pathan, played by Shah Rukh, seeks to stop Jim (John), an ex-agent, from carrying out fatal assaults on India and the rest of the world. In Deepika’s role as Rubai, an ISI agent aids Pathan in stopping Jim.

Yasir is most known for being the Hum TV host of The After Moon Show. His first acting role was in the Pakistani film Karachi Se Lahore (2015). He wrote the screenplay for Wajahat Rauf’s movie. One of the adversaries in the drama serial Bandi is presently played by Yasir, who is married to the television actor Iqra Aziz.

“Pathan is a true-blue commercial, masala entertainer that isn’t trying to give out any message or be a social commentary on current problems in the country,” Shah Rukh said in the Hindustan Times review of the movie. It’s enjoyable, carefree, and stylish all at once. If you watch this for Shah Rukh Khan, all you’ll get is a grin and perhaps a giggle. Do not skip the scene right before the closing credits because it occurs frequently. When you see two superstars together, this doesn’t happen. Make light of their fame.
