In a recent interview, renowned actor and former Star Trek captain William Shatner admitted to loving the F-word. He gave an explanation of why he likes to use it in conversation, describing it as a “juicy” word. William went on to say that he occasionally uses the word and that it has grown to be his favourite. He said he used that specific word to enliven conversations with others. William Shatner shares his word of choice.

William and director Tim League had a talk at SXSW about William’s love of the F word. He gave an explanation for why he likes to use the four-syllable term in conversation, referring to it as “juicy”. William used the “F” word and said, “Shut the f**** up,” during a conversation on disruptive technological devices and how to handle them. He agreed that the word would be considered ugly by some, but he thinks it to be a juicy word.

William spoke the words “Shut the f*** up” before turning to the sign language translator and requesting that they teach him the sign for the term. The audience laughed as a result.

He also talked about the legacy he wants to leave behind in a recent interview with Variety. He wants to make a documentary called You Can Call Me Bill, but he knows he only has so much time. He hopes to connect with future generations through this endeavour by imparting useful knowledge and sharing his life experiences.

He wants to leave a lasting legacy that will have an impact on people long after he is gone by using his storytelling talents to inspire and amuse his audience. He wants to create a bridge between generations and serve as an inspiration for the next generation by sharing his distinctive viewpoint on life and the world.

I’ve declined numerous opportunities to work on documentaries in the past, he claimed. But, I don’t have long to live. My time is limited, whether I’m speaking to you now or in ten years, so that’s a consideration.

He is conscious of his short time and is optimistic and driven to change the world, adding, “I have little kids. This film is a method for me to communicate with people when I’m gone.”

William achieved worldwide recognition for his performance as Captain James T. Kirk in the 1966–1969 Star Trek TV series. In addition to his legendary role in Star Trek, he also appeared in a number of movies and television episodes, including Boston Legal, TJ Hooker, and practice.
