Actress Kangana Ranaut has remarked that comedy is not valued very highly in India. In a previous interview, Kangana claimed that despite her several jokes, people “didn’t even respond.”
Kangana Ranaut was once mocked by Deepika Padukone.
He was then mocked by Deepika Padukone, who suggested that perhaps his quips weren’t witty enough. Deepika’s remark initially stunned Kangana, who subsequently chuckled at it.
Kangana stated in a CNN IBN interview: “I believe that in this society, comedy is not valued very highly. And for some reason, people are not hilarious and are also quite emotional. So it is obviously coming from women. It’s not like every time I tell a joke, nobody even laughs. She most certainly didn’t mean to jest or say anything to that effect.
With a smirk, Deepika remarked, “Maybe you’re not funny.” She ‘would prefer to believe that she didn’t get it,’ a shocked Kangana remarked.
Kangana recently commended Deepika for her performance at the Oscars. Deepika Padukone looks so stunning, but as she noted last month, “It is not simple to stand holding the whole nation together, bearing your image, reputation, and speaking with such grace and confidence.” shows a crimson heart and the Indian flag to indicate that Indian ladies are the best.”
A portion of social media users questioned the compliments because Kangana had previously slammed Deepika for her work raising awareness of mental health, calling her 2022 film Gehraiyaan “trash,” and other things.
Kangana had added, “All the actors are astonished that I appreciated DP (Deepika), don’t think too much, I am a very simple person,” in response to those who were taken aback by her post. I simply abide by Krishna’s teachings, according to which it is sinful to give someone credit when it is not due, but it is much more sinful to withhold it when it is.
Fans may soon watch Kangana in Chandramukhi 2, which also stars P Vasu. Moreover, Kangana will appear in the upcoming historical drama Emergency, which she is also the sole director of. She will also appear in Tejas, where she will portray a pilot with the Indian Air Force. Kangana will also be seen by the audience in The Avatar: Sita and Manikarnika Returns: The Tale of Didda.
Deepika has begun production on Fighter, in which she will make her acting debut opposite Hrithik Roshan. Fighter, a Siddharth Anand-directed film starring Anil Kapoor as well, is scheduled to open in theaters on January 25, 2024. With Amitabh Bachchan and Prabhas, she is working on projects.
