On Sunday, Virat Kohli celebrated after the catch by sending a flying kiss to wife Anushka Sharma in the stands. The actor was seen smiling and blushing after her husband’s sweet public gesture. The cricketer was playing at the M Chinnaswamy Stadium when his Indian Premier League (IPL) team Royal Challengers Bangalore defeated Rajasthan Royals and won.
Fans couldn’t get enough of the sweet moment when Virat Kohli kissed wife Anushka Sharma in the stands.
Virat Kohli is currently the stand-in captain of RCB as Faf du Plessis is injured. The team won the match and fans were delighted with Virat’s affection for Anushka on the field. After Virat took a catch to dismiss RR’s Yashasvi Jaiswal, he turned and gave a kiss to Anushka in the stands. The moment was captured on TV and quickly went viral. The RCB team wore green to raise awareness about the environment as part of its ‘Go Green’ initiative.

On Saturday, Anushka and Virat went out for a family lunch with Anushka’s parents at the Central Tiffin Room (CTR). Anushka shared many pictures of her food and day outing. Later the couple also posed for photographs with the staff at CTR. He also left a note for the restaurant in their guest book after the meal. It read: We had a quiet dinner with friends and family, thank you for the wonderful hospitality and delicious food. Greetings and best wishes always. Anushka and Virat.”
In December, Anushka completed filming on cricketer Jhulan Goswami’s biopic Chakda Express. The sports film is produced by Anushka’s brother Karnesh Sharma and directed by Prosit Roy. It is expected to premiere on Netflix later this year. Anushka was last seen in a cameo for Anvita Dutt’s Kala starring Tripti Dimri. She was seen in the song ‘Ghode Pe Sawar’.
