How Did Sunny Leone Choose Her Stage Name?
“When I went to America for an interview with a magazine, they asked me, ‘What do you want to call yourself?’ I was at a loss for words at the time. I worked for the accounting department, the human resources department, and another agent at a tax and retirement firm. I assisted with all of these tasks in addition to working as a receptionist. I was in the middle of an interview at this company when I realized I had to end the call and return to work right away to avoid getting caught. And they asked, “What would you like your name to be?” I then instructed her to use Sunny as my first name before selecting a last name.
Sunny Leone’s Mother Hated Her Name
As she continued to discuss her decision, she stated: “My brother’s last name is Sunny. Sandeep Singh is his name; we refer to him as Sunny. My mother detested the name Sunny I gave myself. Of all names, that is one name, she remarked. choose?’ Yes, that is what initially came to mind, and when the magazine chose the last name, I simply kept it.”
Sunny’s Film Career
She spent a few years working in the adult film industry in the US before making her acting debut in Pooja Bhatt’s thriller Jism 2 in 2012, which came after her participation in Bigg Boss 5. Later, she made appearances in movies like Mastizade, Jackpot, Ragini MMS 2, Ek Paheli, and Ragini MMS 2.
