Sunny Leone is traveling to Cannes with Anurag Kashyap’s forthcoming film Kennedy after more than ten years in the business. It will be the sole Indian film showing at the 76th Cannes Film Festival in May 2023, starring Rahul Bhat. The famed French film festival’s Midnight Screening section will show the Indian movie. After a tense audition, the former Bigg Boss competitor recently explained how she ended up playing Anurag Ki Kennedy. He compared it to the toughest test he had ever taken in his life.

The actor further disclosed that, after moving to Bollywood in pursuit of job prospects, he had a few auditions. Her first audition went well, but the business side of the arrangement fell through, so she decided not to continue with the project. With Randeep Hooda and Arunoday Singh in Pooja Bhatt’s Jism 2, she made her Hindi cinema debut in 2012.
Sunny revealed to Galta Plus that Anurag Kashyap had called to schedule an audition for the part. She stated: “I entered thinking it might be him and a producer. Yet, his entire team—most of whom are women—is present, and they are all seated in the same space. Everyone is seated in, including assistant Eddie.” “this space. I’m anxious as I perform for this audition. I have no idea why, but I’m terrified since it’s outside of my comfort zone. You have ten people staring at you as though they were about to judge you right then and there.”

Rahul and Sunny’s characters from Kennedy had their first glance after the Cannes announcement, thanks to Anurag. Sunny is portraying Charlie while the latter plays the title role. The protagonist of Said Kennedy is an insomniac ex-cop who is looking for redemption and is thought to be dead.
