Deepika Padukone and Shahrukh Khan have entered the world of Barbie. A user on Twitter recreated his well-known badminton move using the song Dhoom Tana from the 2007 hit movie Om Shanti Om. Artificial intelligence (AI) was used to reimagine the sequence in the candy-coated pink hues of the Barbie universe, as seen in the recently released Hollywood version of Greta Gerwig’s Mattel doll.

In the video, Deepika and Shah Rukh recreate the well-known song Dhal Gaya Din Ho Gayi Sham from TR Ramanna’s 1970 love drama Humjoli, starring Jeetendra and Leena Chandravarkar. The scene is an excerpt from Farah Khan’s reincarnation drama.
Farah choreographed and created the original Om Shanti Om sequence, which is a part of the Dhoom Tana track and in which Shah Rukh and Deepika recreate a number of classic Hindi film songs. Dua Lipa’s Barbie single Dance the Night is playing in the background as two performers, backdancers, and a stage decorated in pink and lavender perform the new song.

About Barbie
Ryan Gosling plays Ken, and Margot Robbie portrays Barbie. Other cast members include America Ferrera, Simu Liu, Dua Lipa, Emerald Fennell, Issa Rae, Kate McKinnon, Michael Cera, and Will Ferrell. The premise of the movie is that Barbie and Ken “entertain a journey of self-discovery in the real world after being exiled from utopian Barbie World for being a less than ideal doll.”
Greta is “also deeply interested in humor, continually underlining how she is recreating the Barbie myth,” according to a Hindustan Times review of Barbie. As a result, the humor rarely works, despite the fact that one can’t help but respect the shots each line takes. But, the overall tone, which is a blend of self-awareness and assurance, doesn’t change.
