The woman approached Raducanu in a public place on Monday, and the WTA, which oversees women’s tennis, claims that the male was also saw “in the first few rows” of her match on Tuesday before being evicted.

Near the beginning of her second-round match against Karolina Muchová of the Czech Republic in Dubai, Raducanu looked noticeably upset as she conversed with the umpire before ducking behind the chair.

After a brief pause, Muchová, who was then ahead 2-0 in the opening set, went over to console her opponent, and the action resumed.

The WTA went on to say, “Our primary focus is player safety, and tournaments are briefed on security best practices for international sporting events.”

“To guarantee Emma’s wellbeing and offer any assistance she may require, the WTA is proactively collaborating with her and her team. To ensure a secure environment for all players, we are still dedicated to working with tournaments and their security teams throughout the world.

Raducanu was down Muchová 4-0 in the opening set, but he quickly rallied to even the score at 5-4.

But the world No. 17 took control of the match by winning the first set tie-break and then breaking Raducanu’s serve early in the second set.

Muchová’s victory puts her in the third round against American McCartney Kessler, who overcame fellow countrywoman Coco Gauff on Tuesday.
