Sons of Anarchy Alumni, unique Along with Academy Award winners Russell Crowe, Karen Gillan, Marton Soukas, and additional sleeping dogs from Nickel City Pictures, Tommy Flanagan has agreed to star in the crime thriller.

The Australian film, which is now in production, is based on the book by Eo Chirovici. the book of mirrors, Its protagonist is former homicide investigator Roy Freeman (Crowe), who is entrusted with re-examining a horrible murder case from his past – the gruesome murder of a college professor (Soukas), in the wake of a cutting-edge treatment for Alzheimer’s. Desperate and fighting to regain his memory, Roy asks his former partner to help him restart the investigation. This time however, things unfold very differently when he encounters a magnetic and mysterious woman (Gillan): as he uncovers a tangled web of contradictions and secrets, Roy is forced to confront a sinister reality. She has to deal with a man who, in a split second, alters her entire universe.

From a screenplay he co-wrote with Bill Colledge (Assassins Creed) and cast members Harry Greenwood and Thomas M. Wright, Adam Cooper makes his feature film debut as a director. Cooper, Colledge, Deborah Glover, and Pouya Shabazian from New Leaf Literary are producing alongside Mark Fasano of Nickel City Films. Executive producers on the project include Delphine Perrier, Ford Corbett, Cliff Roberts, Matthew Goldberg, and Ariane Fraser of Highland Film Group. For international distribution, Highland Film Group has collaborated with Nickel City Films, and the movie was premiered at EFM last month.

Perhaps best known for his role as Philip ‘Chibs’ Telford in FX’s Emmy-nominated biker gang drama sons of Anarchywhich ran for seven seasons, Flanagan currently stars opposite Joseph Sikora in Starz Power Book IV: Force – Spin-off of premium cabler’s hugely popular crime drama Power, which has been picked up for a second season. Recently, he appeared in an HBO production. He has also been in shows like Peaky Blinders and Netflix’s Wu Assassin alongside Evan Rachel Wood and Vincent Cassel.

James Gunn’s picture is among Flanagan’s most recent filmography credits. Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2, action-thriller Boon opposite Neil McDonough; criminal assassins anonymous opposite Gary Oldman and Jessica Alba; A24’s Acclaimed Western lefty brown song opposite Bill Pullman, Jim Caviezel and Peter Fonda; Bleeker Street Papillon remake, which reunited him sons of AnarchyCharlie Hunnam; iraq war picture netflix sand castle opposite Henry Cavill and Nicholas Hoult; and Heidi Greensmith’s indie drama Cold opposite Tom Payne.
