Smriti Irani, a minister for the union, has admitted that she cried on the day of Sushant Singh Rajput’s passing in June 2020. She learned about the young man while they were both working on a Mumbai television program, and she wanted to give him the chance to speak with him on the phone. She also reportedly said to him, “Please don’t kill yourself,” according to the former actor. Later, he also offered advice to Amit Sadh, a co-star of Sushant who was lamenting the loss of his friend.
Sushant Singh Rajput was found dead in his Mumbai flat in June 2020.
Smriti Irani had interactions with the actor for a workshop on the stage of the International Film Festival of India (IFFI) in Goa when she served as the Central Information in 2017, in addition to working in the same Mumbai studio as the television actors. When I asked Sussan Singh Rajput what he (Amit) had done, he (Amit) said he didn’t want to live. I have a strange suspicion that something is amiss. In 2013, Amit and Sushant co-starred in their first movie, Kai Po Che. She claimed that out of worry for his emotional state, she spoke with Amit for six hours.
Sushant, 34, was discovered dead in his Bombay apartment in June 2020. After his postmortem, the Mumbai Police determined that he committed suicide. His family claimed that Rhea Chakraborty and her family had stolen their money and supplied them with drugs, and they demanded a thorough investigation into the situation. A few months later, the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) took up the investigation.
