Bethenny Frankel voiced grave worry about people using Ozempic, a medication frequently prescribed for persons with type 2 diabetes, to reduce weight simply for cosmetic purposes.

The “Real Housewives of New York City” star warned Tuesday in a video on Instagram that it would be dangerous because very thin people with body dysmorphia and eating disorders would have to deal with it.

According to Frankel, 52, the weight-loss medication is “working in a big manner” in places like Boca Raton, Florida, and Manhattan’s Upper East Side.

“NOzempic” is how Frankel labeled his video.

I’ve heard rumors that it can affect your mood, she remarked. I’ve heard that it has an impact on people’s personalities.

Frankel claimed she had a bad experience with an Ozempic user. He withheld the individual’s name, though.

“I got into a fight with someone who has a highly angry attitude and used to use Adderall; this is another unhealthy habit that individuals have when trying to reduce weight. stated the former Bravolebrity. “This individual would, like, snap if they were used.

“Mark my words, for months and years to come, we won’t hear about this s—t show… The King s—t show will take place.

Frankel claimed that the Olympic excitement made her think of the Chinese herb ma huang, which she claimed to have used for weight loss while she was in her 20s.

He declared, “This Ozempic thing is going to f—king go sideways and all the other copy cat names too,” adding that “Ma Huang ended up killing people.”One critic who commented, “It’s easy to judge when you’ve never had an issue with weight,” was among the many who complimented and decried Frankel for her viewpoint in the comment area.

A brand that encourages a leaner figure has been developed by Frankel. She published the book “Naturally Thin: Release Your Skinnygirl and Liberate Yourself from a Lifetime of Dieting” in 2009, the same year that she also established the lifestyle brand Skinnygirl.

She received criticism for developing a company under that name from Jackie Goldschneider, a fellow “Housewife,” on “The Real Housewives of New Jersey” in December 2022.The reality star, who has openly struggled with an eating disorder, told Page Six at the time, “I’m f-king sick of promoting slim. “Fk you, Bethenny, I don’t want to drink anything because it will keep me slender. Your slim brand is f—k. My feelings are exactly the same.”

But, in response, a representative for Bethenny Frankel said, “Bethenny has personal experience with this topic and talks about it extensively in her book “Naturally Thin” and “Business is Personal.”

While some famous people have remained mum about whether they are using the contentious weight-loss cure, others have come clean about it.

Golnessa “GG” Gharchedghi, a former cast member of “Shah of Sunset,” said in March that she lost 11 pounds using Ozempic, and “Ronj” actor Margaret Josephs revealed Tuesday that she used hormone replacement therapy and peptides to lose weight.

That alters your life, said Josephs. And it’s not about being overweight or underweight; it’s about all of my fitness components working together.
