At a recent screening, actress Aishwarya Rai got to know her Ponniyin Selvan 2 co-stars. She brought with their daughter Aaradhya and husband, actor Abhishek Bachchan. Everyone from the actors of the movie greeted Aishwarya and Aaradhya at the screening and gave them hugs, with some even complementing the young child.
At the Ponniyin Selvan 2 event were Vikram, Aaradhya Bachchan, Aishwarya Rai, and Trisha.
Vikram gives Aaradhya a hug and remarks, “You are looking even more fabulous,” at first. He receives gratitude from Aaradhya for the praise. After giving her a hug, Trisha Krishnan exclaims, “OMG, you are as tall as your mother now!” Aaradhya answered with a smile.
The group then gathered for pictures, which were posted on the Madras Talkies Instagram account. Aaradhya wore a white and pink dress, while Aishwarya chose a blue suit. As usual, Abhishek was dressed casually in all black. Trisha appeared at ease in her ensemble of a black top, black pants, and a blue shirt. With dreadlocks in his hair and a patterned shirt, Vikram looked fashionable. Also, he had on sunglasses.
On Friday, Ponniyin Selvan 2 was released in theaters. The Tamil historical play, which is based on the novels by Kalki Krishnamurthy published in 1955, follows the life of young Arulmozhivarman, a strong ruler from the south who later rose to become Rajaraja Chola I, the great Chola emperor.
Jayam Ravi, Karthi, Sobhita Dhulipala, Aishwarya Lekshmi, and more actors are featured in the cast. It has been made available nationwide in five different languages. The movie is expected to earn 38 crores on its first day in India and 55 crores internationally.
Mani Ratnam, the film’s director, remarked of Hindi-language films made in India over the years that they had “gone down south.” There are numerous instances of this, like the success of Aradhana. I believe that is merely a thank-you gift.
“It’s a terrific indicator that you can make a movie in India in any language, and it will still be considered an Indian movie, not just a Hindi, South, or North Indian movie. So, in my opinion, it’s good. I believe that people are now more accepting of it, which will only broaden the talent pool, raise the caliber of movies as a whole, and expand the diversity of films.
Aaradhya was born in 2011, and Aishwarya and Abhishek wed in 2007. Aaradhya frequently travels with her mother to events both domestically and overseas. He was last saw in Mumbai during the opening of the Nita Mukesh Ambani Culture Center.
