Sheeba on Hiatus: Nobody Has Offered Me Roles That Are Lucrative Enough To Do.
After almost two decades, Sheeba is making a full-fledged film comeback. The actor, who has previously been on screen alongside Rajinikanth, Salman Khan, and Akshay Kumar, has two films in development: Fateh and love romance Rocky Aur Rani from director Karan Johar.
After a long absence, actress Sheeba is preparing to make a comeback on the big screen.

Sheeba, who has been in movies like Sooryavanshi (1992), Miss 420 (1998), and Dum (2003), explains to us that at one point, directors preferred either an actress who was 18 years old or a mother who was 80 years old. I didn’t take a spectrum seat. Second, nobody ever gave me roles that were alluring enough to accept.

The actor is happy that things have evolved from the 1990s, when heroes and heroines ruled the industry to the present. Other characters weren’t given much weight earlier. But, each role is now equally important to the project now. There is another crucial component, she continues, “if the hero doesn’t want me to be his heroine. Many have understood that a male is no longer capable of managing a project.

Sheeba made the decision to get married when she started landing the top jobs. Sheeba remarked, “I found satisfaction in everything I had. It wasn’t the best thing, but instead of leading a horrible life and cursing everything, I did it. The quality of life was good. I don’t want to worry or stress myself out needlessly. Jo aara hai, okay, woh hi. The actress reflects on her time with her family and says, “I was really content and happy with my kids. I spent that time becoming a yoga instructor and taking new creative courses. My main concern was getting in shape. was on fitness, and you can see a lot of posts related to it on my Instagram account.

According to Sheeba, another noticeable change in the industry is that everyone on the sets is well-groomed and has done their studies. “I observed the same on the Sonu Sood and Karan Johar movies sets” (Fateh). He has done so much research. Technically speaking, they are quite knowledgeable. The art of acting has evolved as well. The producers want you to be quiet, unassuming, and gentle. The manner the characters are presented has also altered. The characters are more relatable [today], despite the fact that the movies are larger than life,” she concludes.
