Bollywood star Shah Rukh Khan pays an annual rent of Rs 2.90 crore for two opulent duplex apartments in Mumbai’s affluent Pali Hill neighborhood. Actor-producer Jackky Bhagnani and his sister Deepshika have rented the flats, which are housed in the Puja Casa complex. Although the apartments are adjacent to Mannat, SRK’s famous seaside villa, the rationale for this extra rental has not yet been revealed.
Reports state that SRK will be paying both duplexes a total of Rs 24.15 lakh in rent each month. The property is secured for the long run by the three-year (36-month) lease. One apartment is co-leased by Jackky Bhagnani and his sister Deepshika, while the other is leased straight from Jackky. One of Mumbai’s most desirable residential neighborhoods is Pali Hill, which is home to a number of Bollywood A-list celebrities.
It is still unclear why Shah Rukh Khan, who owns Mannat, rents out more living space. According to speculation, the flats might be used for business, personal, or extended family needs. Considering SRK’s prominence in the field, purchasing upscale real estate close to his home would also be a wise growth or investment strategy.
Following three straight box office successes in 2023, SRK has been somewhat quiet in 2024. The superstar is currently preparing for his upcoming movie, King, which was originally supposed to be directed by Sujoy Ghosh but will instead be directed by Siddharth Anand of Pathaan. According to reports, Suhana Khan, Abhishek Bachchan, and Abhay Verma play important roles in the multi-villain story. King, SRK’s eagerly awaited big-screen comeback, is scheduled for release in 2026.
