More than ten years after their divorce, Scarlett Johansson has made it clear how she feels about her first ex-husband, Ryan Reynolds.
The “Marriage Story” actress was asked how many times she has been married by host Gwyneth Paltrow during an interview on the “Goop” podcast on Tuesday. She responded, “Three times,” to her question.
50-year-old Paltrow said, “Oh, I see. I had forgotten that you were wed to Ryan Reynolds. Goals.”
They were “not married for a very long period,” according to Johansson, who was wed to the “Deadpool” actor from 2008 to 2010.
We adore a good Ryan Reynolds in our house, the “Shakespeare in Love” actress exclaimed. Johansson responded, “He’s a good man.”

After two years of marriage, the “Lucy” actor, 38, and Reynolds, 46, announced their separation in December 2010. The following July, they reached a divorce settlement.
Although the pair rarely spoke publicly about their short-lived romance, Johansson briefly touched on the subject in a 2019 Vanity Fair profile.
“I mean, I was 23 when I got married the first time,” she said at the time.
“I didn’t really understand marriage. Maybe I kind of romanticized it, I guess, in a way,” she went on.
The “Avengers” actress wed journalist Romain Dauriac in 2014 after they divorced.
Ax, who ended their relationship in 2017, is still co-parenting Rose, their 8-year-old daughter.
Johansson started dating “Saturday Night Live” comedian Colin Jost in 2017, and two years later, they got engaged.
They were united in marriage in a secret ceremony at the actress’ Palisades, New York, residence, and had Cosm as their first child in 2021.
For his part, Reynolds started dating “Gossip Girl” star Blake Lively in 2011.
The couple married the following year on a plantation in South Carolina; she later expressed regret about the response.
