Last week saw the release of the teaser for the upcoming thriller Gaslight, starring Sara Ali Khan, Chitrangada Singh, and Vikrant Massey. Now the director has revealed that the thriller was shot in just 36 days. The movie, which was filmed in Gujarat’s Wankaner Palace, is scheduled for digital distribution on March 31.
“I shot Gaslight in 36 days and it is safe to claim that I could shoot the film under a regulated budget and tight timetable,” director Pawan Kriplani said in a press release. With few venues and requiring much planning, the shooting The process is simpler.

Before Gaslight, Pawan collaborated on the horror-comedy Bhoot Police starring Saif Ali Khan, Arjun Kapoor, Jacqueline Fernandez, and Yami Gautam. Ragini MMS, a 2011 horror movie, served as his maiden production as a filmmaker. He also oversaw the 2016 psychological thriller Phobia starring Radhika Apte.
Gaslight, a Ramesh Taurani-produced OTT programme, will debut on Disney Hotstar on March 31. Rahul Dev and Akshay Oberoi are also featured in the movie.
Sara had previously discussed her experience filming the thriller, claiming that the part was both intellectually and physically demanding. She has a complex, nuanced personality.
