Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan, starring Salman Khan, Venkatesh, and Pooja Hegde, isn’t doing well at the box office this week. The Farhad Samji-directed film continues to decline after slowing down on Tuesday before slowly increasing and crossing the $100 million milestone on Wednesday.
Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan scene starring Salman Khan and Pooja Hegde.
In Kisi Ka Bhai Jagapati Babu, Jassi Gill, Raghav Juyal, Siddharth Nigam, Shehnaaz Gill, Vijender Singh, and Palak Tiwari are among the supporting cast members in Kisi Ki Jaan. Bhumika Chawla, who starred alongside Salman in the movie Tere Naam, and Bhagyashree, who starred in the movie Maine Pyar Kiya, both have important roles in the movie. In the movie, there are also cameo roles for Ram Charan and Abdu Rozic.
The movie has reportedly lost another 30%, with an expected collection of around 4-4.5 crores, according to a report on boxofficeindia.com. Right now, it’s somewhere around 89 crores.
There are numerous songs in Catty Catty, Jee Rahe The Hum (Fall in Love), O Balle Balle, Let’s Dance Chotu Motu, Bathukamma, Yentamma, and Kis Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan Mein Naiyo Lagda. Yentamma also features Telugu lyrics, whereas Bathukamma is entirely a Telugu song.
Mixed to unfavorable reviews were given to the movie. Kis Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan’s review in the Hindustan Times is quoted as saying, “At 144 minutes, the film is excruciatingly long and dragged out. The tale remains the same and is still more entertaining even if all the songs are taken out. In fact, it would have made more sense to release the songs as a whole album rather than as a part of the movie because they are so abrupt and loud (but upbeat). Yet, it appears that the filmmakers weren’t bothered by including up to seven tracks because they were more interested in exhibiting everyone’s dance routines.
Salman will next be seen repeating his role in Maneesh Sharma’s Tiger 3. This Diwali, the movie will be released in Hindi, Tamil, and Telugu. Katrina Kaif and Emraan Hashmi will also star.
