At 81, Robert De Niro continues to captivate audiences with his dynamic performances. In 2025, he stars in Netflix’s political thriller Zero Day, portraying a former U.S. president investigating a devastating cyberattack. The series, released on February 20, features an ensemble cast including Angela Bassett, Lizzy Caplan, and Jesse Plemons. Despite this venture into television, De Niro expressed that he is uncertain about pursuing future TV roles, citing the demanding nature of the medium.

Additionally, De Niro takes on dual roles in The Alto Knights, a crime drama based on the lives of mob bosses Vito Genovese and Frank Costello.
