Richa Chadha, an actress who will soon be seen in Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s online series “Heeramandi,” said that working on the project required her to venture outside of her comfort zone.
Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s online series “Heeramandi,” in which actress Richa Chadha will soon appear, challenged her to step outside of her comfort zone, according to Richa Chadha.
She did, however, add that because everyone is constantly changing, it is not as simple as it seems.
She went on: “Sincerely, I feel like I’ve changed from the person I was a year ago to who I am today. I’ve changed and developed. I have to perform at my best since I am the director’s actor.” I enjoy being stretched to the limit. I enjoy pushing myself to the point where my throat is dry and my nerves are making me queasy. As a result, I enjoy working with Sanjay sir since he values teamwork greatly. He also has high standards and isn’t easily fooled.
His first film with Bhansali, “Goliyon Ki Raasleela – Ram Leela,” has been in development for almost ten years. “Hiramandi” is his second collaboration with the director.
“Instead of a director who likes me but makes a bad movie, I would much rather work with a taskmaster who holds himself to a higher standard. It is always a privilege to be involved in any way with SLB and their initiative. And I think it’s fortunate that I twice had the chance to do it, the first time being in Goliyon Ki Raasleela – Ram Leela. But since Heeramandi is one of many firsts, it will always remain a unique destination. You’ll see,” she continued.
‘Hiramandi’, set in pre-independence India, is based on the life story of three generations of courtesans in Hiramandi district.
The life stories of three generations of courtesans in the Hiramandi area served as the inspiration for “Hiramandi,” a drama set in pre-independence India.
Sonakshi Sinha, Sharmin Sehgal, and Manisha Koirala are also featured in the Netflix original series.
