In both the photograph and the change for his upcoming movie Faraday, Ravi Dubey appeared unrecognisable with a bald head, wrinkles on his cheeks, and a substantial tummy. Everyone was in complete shock. Several people even compared him to Christian Bale, a Hollywood actor. More than anything else, Dubey claims that it has humbled him because he is “essentially an actor trying to push the envelope.” We are here for that reason. It therefore feels like a pat on the back if individuals take it and an encouragement to work a bit harder in the future, he tells us.

Fans of Ravi Dubey are in disbelief at his change for his forthcoming movie.

The body is what draws attention, rather than just the clever use of prosthetics to accomplish the look. Even though Dubey appears to be out of shape in the picture, he explained how he had to exercise to get in shape. “I was exercising in this manner to exhaust myself—exercises that wear down your muscles. The goal was to reduce in size without sacrificing visual appeal. It’s known as being “skinny fat” when you look thin “but, your body has very little muscle. One needs to exercise constantly and eat less and less throughout the day to achieve this. Extreme cardio causes this, which results in a low muscle proportion and a very high fat percentage. That was my objective. Simply put, I continue to do a lot of aerobic exercises as we shoot, the actor said in a separate interview, adding that it takes four hours to perfect the prosthetics and makeup.

But for the actor, exploring the character’s psyche is more thrilling than the physical alteration. “I found it more difficult, but also more interesting, to relate to this character on a very human level. Nothing will matter if there is a psychological gap. Even the change will appear insignificant. So, a psychological connection with the character is crucial for me and the majority of actors. Physical transformation, form, and attire occur considerably later.

Or Dubey, it is a passion project that centres on a man who seems to be disconnected from reality and to be living in his own false universe. According to the actor, it is still too early to share many details about the movie or the role.

And to do this effectively, the actor explains, one must discover a marriage between the real-life subject and the fictional role. You can achieve your goals if you can somehow sever your ties to reality and enter that character’s “vortex.”

Even so, the outcome is not assured. “It’s very tough to discern whether you’re on the correct track until you actually see an end result and know whether or not people will connect with it. In conclusion, as an artist, you should trust your instincts and keep working.
