Ratan Rajput has disclosed that after going to an audition for a project and learning that he had been shortlisted, he had to sit on the casting couch. In a recent interview, she opened up about her experience and stated that, despite the rarity of such occurrences, she wanted the younger generation to be aware of them.
On her most recent YouTube channel, Ratan, who frequently uploads videos, is seen traveling to Chandigarh with her mother and discovering the local cuisine.
Recalls Early Days in Rattan Industry
Ratan Rajput told Aaj Tak that she thinks the goal is a real “casting couch,” and she also added that she wants young, aspiring actors who look to her for advice on YouTube to know the truth. He added that not the entire industry could be characterized as bad. Ratan recalled an incident from her early career, saying that she visited a hotel in Oshiwara and ran into a number of other well-known actors there. “I went to the audition, but the director wasn’t there. I was given a junior coordinator’s praise after my audition: “You did a great job, ma’am. Sir is only referring to you. It will only belong to you. I consented.
She added that back then, she never went to auditions by herself and, when it did happen, she always brought a friend. Despite the fact that she “didn’t really understand what was happening,” she was given a script and instructed to get ready for a meeting.
‘Added Something to the Cold Drink’
Then Ratan says that he had to go to another hotel because his host insisted he get a cold drink there. They kept offering us cold drinks and insisted that we take them. We didn’t want to, but we did. Then they promised to call me for a second audition. When my friend and I got home, I began to feel a little uneasy. Then I began to wonder if something had been added to the cold beverage. The actor received a call for a second audition a short while later, but she chose not to go because of the poor script.
