Ranbir Kapoor is back on the sets of his next film Animal, which is being directed by Sandeep Reddy Vanga. The actor was recently seen shooting in a hospital for the crime drama, which also stars Anil Kapoor, Bobby Deol and Rashmika Mandanna.
Ranbir Kapoor was spotted in a blue hospital gown for the shoot of Animal.
Ranbir can be seen in a brief video headed towards the elevator while wearing a blue hospital gown that was posted on Twitter by the actor’s fan page. When he heads into the lift, Ranbir can be seen sporting a thick beard and lengthy hair. He also picks up his phone from the unit boy who is standing next to him. Behind him, someone may be seen standing in a long red coat.
Many people remarked on Ranbir’s appearance in the clip and how mature he appeared in his new tough persona. He looks so large, a fan wrote. Another person commented on how much the actor resembles Kabir Singh and remarked, “Kabir Singh connection???” Sandeep Reddy Vanga also helmed the film Kabir Singh, which had Shahid Kapoor and Kiara Advani in the key roles. Another user used fire emojis in their reply, and a fan added, “Tawah (destruction) loading!”
In a promotional interview with SS Rajamouli earlier in the year, Sandeep Reddy Vanga revealed some information about Ranbir’s character in Animal and stated, “I don’t think Ranbir’s character is close to Kabir Singh. There are no similarities between the personalities, yet there is unquestionably violence. The two movies will have one thing in common: character-driven stories. Animal’s first look poster was made public in January. Ranbir was spotted smoking a cigarette, looking at someone, and sporting a white shirt that was stained with blood. The animal was filmed in Himachal Pradesh as well as at actor Saif Ali Khan’s Pataudi Palace close to Delhi while toting a bloody axe under its arm.
The last time we saw Ranbir was in Shraddha Kapoor and Luv Ranjan’s romantic comedy Tu Jhoothi Main Makkar. In just 11 days after its 8 March release, the movie’s domestic box office took in 100 crore nett. The movie Animal will debut in theatres on August 11, 2023.
