With his latest call for students to “do what makes you happy: eat, drink, and be merry,” Ram Gopal Varma stirs up controversy. (Instagram credit for image)

Ram Gopal Varma is one of Indian cinema’s most well-known directors. His credits include Satya, Sarkar, Sarkar Raj, Company, Rangeela, Nishabd, Aag, Department, and Naach, among others. Nevertheless his films have received more attention than his strong opinions.

With his address at Acharya Nagarjuna University in Guntur, Andhra Pradesh, RGV has once more courted controversy. The filmmaker finally received his degree after finishing his Bachelor of Technology degree 37 years earlier.

Ram Gopal Varma advised the students to enjoy every moment of life without taking their studies seriously, according to News 18. “We are promised a reunion with Rambha, Urvashi, and Tilottama, the three heavenly beauties, after death,” he stated. So what if we fail to locate them? This has allowed me to truly appreciate life. All I want is for you to enjoy yourselves by eating, drinking, and having a good time.

The Rangeela director did not end there. The 60-year-old filmmaker was the lone individual who wished to see human civilisation continue after the coronavirus epidemic. Why? He will have the opportunity to interact with all the stunning women in the globe. The elders, according to Verma, should not have placed limitations on the younger students. He counselled the kids to complete their job at their convenience.

Ram Gopal Varma posted a picture of his B.Tech degree on Twitter and used it later in several arguments. He then cast a quick glance at the crowded university auditorium and Professor Raja Shekhar, the institute’s vice-chancellor, who was handing him a bouquet.

“I am really happy to obtain my B.Tech degree today, 37 years after I graduated, as I had little interest in practising civil engineering back in 1985… Acharya Nagarjuna University, thank you. He tweeted, “Mmmmmuaahhh.

I’m overjoyed to have received my BTech degree today, 37 years after graduating. I never pursued it in 1985 since I didn’t want to work in civil engineering.

Thanks for the follow-up photo, @acharyagarjunauniversity.
