In Bombay on Wednesday, veteran actor Sameer Khakhar, best known for playing Skull in the 1986 television classic Nukkad, passed suddenly from multiple organ failure. The actor’s final coworkers, Raj Nidimoru and Krishna DK, mourned the veteran and reminisced about their time together on the Farzi set.

The Farzi web series directed by the same team, which debuted on Prime Video in February, paid tribute to Sameer on Twitter. “Nook Skull made such an influence on us as kids,” he wrote.
