Many politicians and celebrities attended the wedding celebration that actress Swara Bhasker and politician Fahadh Ahmed hosted on Thursday in Delhi. Congressman Rahul Gandhi may be seen in a video posted by a paparazzi account on Instagram on Thursday attending the ceremony in Delhi. Rahul Gandhi can be seen standing alongside Swara, her parents, and Fahad in the video. On this occasion, Rahul wore a white kurta and pajamas. While Fahadh wore a cream sherwani and white pajamas, Swara was seen wearing a pink and gold lehenga. Rahul smiles as Swara’s mum speaks to him in the video. Rahul has previously interacted with Swara. She had traveled with him during his Bharat Jodo tour in Ujjain, Madhya Pradesh, the previous year.
Actress and Samajwadi Party chief Jaya Bachchan was also shown meeting TMC chief Derek O’Brien in a separate web video. As soon as Shashi Tharoor arrived at the location, he welcomed him and extended a handshake.
On Friday, Swara shared numerous images from her reception, including a few in which she posed with Fahadh, on her Instagram. The couple smiled for the camera and posed for several pictures in these images. Fahadh can be seen grinning while kissing Swara on the cheek in one of the images. “Introducing Mr. and Mrs. #SwaadAnusaar,” wrote Swara as the caption for the image.
Swara posted photos from her and Fahadh’s qawwali night on Twitter on Thursday. Akhilesh Yadav, the Samajwadi Party leader and former chief minister of Uttar Pradesh, also took part in this. Swara tweeted about sharing the images, “Greeting Shri Akhilesh Yadav ji at the “Swaad Anwara” (hashtag of their wedding) celebration—Qawwali ki Raat—makes me feel joyful and honored. with our commander as one.” utilized the chance to realize Pradeep Bhaiya’s (Brother’s) dream in the image. The pair recently stated to Times of India in an interview about their union, “We both are very conscious and proud of our identity and no one wants to change anyone. Things that fit both of our traditions were on our agenda. Both use turmeric, a common ingredient. Muslims refer to it as Ubtan. Both sides receive mehndi. There is music on both sides. A non-converting intercaste couple in India can only be legally wed in a court under the Special Marriage Act, which is what we have done. We are currently working to establish celebration as a custom.
On February 16, Swara made her engagement to Fahad Ahmed public. The actor posted pictures of himself in court and claimed that he had chosen to get married there after submitting his paperwork on January 6 in accordance with the Special Marriage Act.
