Vikas Shukla, an actor best known for roles in “Sacred Games,” “Bard of Blood,” “Hush Hush,” “Raazi,” “Omerta,” and many other movies, will play Meghna Gulzar in the movie. A biopic based on the life of Field Marshal Sam Manekshaw is titled “Sam Bahadur.”
After “Raazi,” the actor will be working with Vicky Kaushal and Meghna Gulzar once again.
Regarding how he got the part, Vikas Shukla said: “I played a minor role as a RAW agent in the movie Raazi. Meghna Mam recognized me after that and after five years phoned me to schedule a test for this position. No work is wasted, in my opinion, and it can even help you land a new career. I was therefore given the part after passing the audition for Sam Manekshaw’s older brother Fali.
Vikas Shukla said the following about his experience of seeing Meghna again: “She is an extremely great human being and, as we all know, a dedicated filmmaker. His work is indescribable. He is extremely picky about how the characters appear and feel. Because Sam Manekshaw served as the basis for the historical drama Sam Bahadur, you can imagine the amount of planning and research that went into it. Despite the fact that my portion was modest, I had numerous calls for appearance testing. Thus, you can picture.
She described her experience of working with Vicky once more as follows: “Vicky and I have already worked together in “Raazi,” but we didn’t get to know one another then. But we shared a scene in “Saam Bahadur.” He is a talented actor who is also real. I can’t wait to collaborate with him on future projects. Hopefully!”
Finally, Vikas Shukla discussed his other upcoming projects before signing: “Along with Manav Kaul, Bhasa Sumbly, Shahid Latif, and Mir Sarwar, I will also be seen in the movie “Baramulla” as a police officer. Aditya Dhar and Geo studios are the producers of the part I’m performing. In a few months, “Adhoora Aadmi,” another movie starring Sharib Hashmi, will be released. In the movie, I played a gay character. It was both interesting and quite difficult.”
