Together with Zendaya and Tom Holland, celebrity stylist Law Roach was in India last week for the opening of the Nita Mukesh Ambani Cultural Center (NMACC). He released a little video of the evening with Zendaya as well as a glance of the centre on Instagram in a post commemorating the occasion. Priyanka recently made a body-shaming statement in which she claimed she was informed she wasn’t “sample-size,” to which Law recently responded. Now, in the most recent Instagram photo released by Law Roach, where he gave followers an inside look at the star-studded event, Priyanka Chopra, with whom he has collaborated for a few years, was noticeably absent. Together with her singer-husband Nick Jonas, Priyanka attended the same event. On the second day of Gallon Gudiyaan, she even joined Ranveer Singh in a lighthearted dance performance.
Congrats once more to the Ambani family on a fantastic @nmacc.india opening, Law wrote in the description of his Instagram image. “Hello why haven’t you met Priyanka??? The global notoriety you have received is because of Priyanka it’s a fact!!! She is BIG compared to Zendaya… Hoping You must have witnessed the craze of PCJ (Priyanka),” one commenter wrote in response to the post.
When Law Roach recently announced his retirement from the world of celebrity styling, it shook the internet. Law was questioned about Priyanka’s admission that a stranger body-shamed her and told her she was “not sample size” in a recent interview with The Cut.
Law emphasised that the phrase was likely a gatekeeping ruse used by the agents and that it was taken out of context after describing it as “a touch nasty.” “I sometimes wonder what it is with them [agents] It’s that they have an agenda and I need to be the bad guy because I’m the one who’s dealing with the clothes and the body.
