With the release of her spy thriller web series Citadel on Amazon Prime, Priyanka Chopra will make her OTT debut. Yet the actor already had a new contract with Amazon Studios before the show’s premiere. She will next appear in the action movie Heads of State alongside actor Idris Elba and former professional wrestler John Cena.
A new movie starring John Cena and Idris Elba has been signed by Priyanka Chopra.
Priyanka is preparing for the premiere of her American movie Love Again, which also stars Sam Heughan and Celine Dion, in addition to Citadel. In May of this year, it will be released. She also stars in the movies Ending Things with Anthony Mackie and Jee Le Zara from Bollywood, which is directed by actor-actor Farhan Akhtar.
Deadline reported that the filming of Heads of State will start in May. Josh Appelbaum and Andre Nemec will write the script, which is based on a story by Harrison Querrie, and Ilya Naishular, of Nobody fame, will direct it. The source also makes a suggestion that the movie will be similar to Air Force One and Midnight Run.
Before beginning the promotions for Citadel, Priyanka was recently spotted at the Nita Mukesh Ambani Culture Center’s opening in Mumbai. Following the weekend’s two-day NMACC opening ceremony, Priyanka attended the Mumbai premiere of The Citadel on Tuesday. Richard Madden, who played her co-star, joined her. On April 28, the first two episodes of the series will be available on Amazon Prime in 40 different languages. Later, more episodes will be made available.
Following the fall of the independent, international intelligence agency Citadel, the plot of Citadel centers on elite agents Mason Kane (Madden) and Nadia Singh (Chopra Jonas), whose memories were erased as they fled for their lives. The two detectives set out on a mission that takes them around the globe in an effort to stop the Manticore, while dealing with secrets, lies, and a perilous yet never-ending Struggle with a relationship based on love that ends, according to the official synopsis. Mason seeks out his former partner, Nadia. The flagship show, starring Matilda De Angelis, Dhawan, and Samantha Ruth Prabhu, would also tie in with regional programs now airing in India and Italy.
