Actor Pankaj Tripathi claims that after filming for several projects there, Lucknow has become like a second home to him. Oh my god, the actor who will appear next I firmly maintain my position in the state capital with Akshay Kumar’s recently finished filming.
“This place has now become very domestic. Bareilly ki Barfi, Paper, The Kargil Girl with Gujan Saxena, three parts of the Mirzapur series, and this film. It feels like home now. Be happy you’re in Lucknow. Knowing that we must shoot here made us happy because we knew there would be delicious food, refreshing drinks, and interesting sights. The language has a special connection as well; everyone speaks in their own way.

‘First Meeting With a CM’
He met Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath while on his tour. For the first time in my life, I met the Chief Minister. This is the best leader I’ve ever encountered! As this was my first experience, I did my best to see the system implemented. I learned about Atal ji’s memories from the Chief Minister. Since I have many relatives in Gorakhpur and am from Gopalganj, we had a great discussion about it. I will now take a flight to Gorakhpur and then drive more than two hours to my village.
‘Concern for the Environment’
His involvement with Sherdil: The Pilibhit Saga (2022) increased his concern for the environment. “We must protect our ecosystem for coming generations. Personally, I’ve cut back on plastic use by 99%. I recently purchased a matka (earthen pot) from a neighborhood market and carry four glass bottles with me to my shooting location. To transport my food, I use a steel tiffin box. We can all continue to work hard for a better future.
‘Only the Story Matters’
No formula has ever worked in my life, the actor claims. I never even dared to imagine myself playing the lead in a movie, but here I am. I don’t care if I get the lead role or get to work in a movie with multiple stars. That tale alone ought to be enjoyable. There is no other requirement; I am simply a good story’s protagonist.
