The official Twitter account for the President’s Office released images of the meeting between the president and the directors of the Oscar-winning documentary The Elephant Whispers, Kartiki Gonsalves and Guneet Monga. felicitated them. Anurag Thakur, a Union Minister, hosted the Oscar-winning cast of The Elephant Whispers in his Delhi home earlier in the day. Anurag shared a video alongside Netflix vice president of programming Monica Shergill, director and cinematographer Kartiki Gonsalves, and producer Guneet Monga.

The 41-minute documentary by Kartiki Gonsalves explores the relationship between Raghu, an orphaned young elephant, and his mahouts, Boman and Bailey. Bowman and Bailey have devoted their entire lives to nurturing her and keeping poachers at bay.
