Tilak Verma, a great young batsman for the Mumbai Indians (MI), played the helicopter shot to dazzle everyone. Verma hit a six to close his inning and finished on 84. Unfortunately, MI was defeated by Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) by an innings and eight wickets.

Mohammad Kaif praised the left-handed batter for his innings during the post-game conversation. In reference to Verma’s last six, Kaif claimed that if we looked in the mirror, his helicopter six would resemble MS Dhoni’s. The MI team, captained by Rohit Sharma, scored 171/7 in their allotted 20 overs thanks to Tilak’s outstanding innings.

Tilak Verma’s all-around performance in the game was lauded by Mohammad Kaif. His strong suit is on the leg side. He plays the scoop shot and knocks sixes straight down the ground while also using his bottom arm to create space.

It follows that he is not limited to scoring on the leg side. The former Indian cricketer remarked, “Helicopter Shot”: “If you see that in the mirror, you’ll assume it’s MS Dhoni because you’ll see him there as a right handed batsman.”

Earlier, the Faf du Plessis-led RCB elected to bowl first after winning the toss. Richard Sharma MI took the lead by batting first, scoring 171 runs in 20 overs while losing seven wickets. MI rookie Tilak Verma led his team to victory with an incredible 84 points off 46 balls.

In response, the RCB easily and successfully chased down the goal with 22 balls remaining. Their star opening partnership of du Plessis and Virat Kohli contributed 148 runs to the opening stand. With a six off the penultimate ball, Kohli, who was still unbeaten at 82, put an exclamation point on the contest.
