Sonakshi Sinha’s most recent debut series, Reema Kagti and Ruchi Oberoi’s suspenseful Dahad, in which she portrayed a policewoman named Anjali Bhati, was well received by critics. Although Sonakshi enjoys reading crime thrillers, she has stated that she will not sign more graphic thrillers like Paatal Lok, Sacred Games, and Mirzapur.
Sonakshi made her acting debut as Rajjo in Abhinav Kashyap’s popular action comedy Dabangg in 2010 opposite Salman Khan’s Chulbul Pandey, a police officer. She has experienced her fair share of triumphs and setbacks, praise and criticism from the critics over the years, but she has received universal acclaim for her performance as Anjali Bhati in Dahad, which debuted on Prime Video India in May of this year.
Sonakshi Doesn’t See Herself in an Obvious OTT Show
Sonakshi responded, “So there are a few that I have liked – Paatal Lok, Sacred Games, Mirzapur,” when asked in a recent interview which streaming show she would like to be a part of. However, I’m not sure if I’ll be able to fit into any of them (laughs). They are a little bit clear. However, I really liked seeing them. Sonakshi stated in an interview with Film Companion that she enjoys watching crime dramas and documentaries.
Sonakshi on Not Making Family Uncomfortable With Her Films
“I’ve always made movies that my whole family can watch together. I won’t do something if I think it will make them uncomfortable. I enjoy it exactly as it is. It’s not for any reason other than what I was told to do. It would be wonderful if I could watch something with my family without feeling awkward or hesitant. Much work is being done. I have remained here for 13 years because of that. Considering that I have always followed my comfort zone. And I always start by opening my cards. Anyone who offers me something, And I always make sure they are aware of it if I think it will be something annoying that I won’t be comfortable with. The decision then rests with them, and they are free to replace me if they so choose. However, the majority of the time, people have responded, “We want you because we know what you can bring to the table.” We’ll find a solution to it. In the interview, Sonakshi said, “So far, it’s been good.
