In a recent interview, Manisha Koirala, who has previously been married, discusses motherhood and friendship. Given her current health – she is a cancer survivor – the actor said she isn’t confident about having children at this time, but she doesn’t rule it out either. She added that she has “wonderful parents and wonderful friends,” but that she occasionally wonders if having a life partner would have made things better.
Samrat Dahal, a Nepali businessman, and Manisha Koirala were wed in a customary ceremony on June 19, 2010, in Kathmandu. After two years, they split up in 2012. The actor was also told that year that she had ovarian cancer. Manisha was asked to express her opinions on a life partner in a recent interview.
Manisha Talks About Having a Partner
According to him, “Do you think it’s a little late to start a family now? I occasionally ponder whether life would have been better if I had a life partner. I’m not sure. My life seems to be complete.” and Mowgli and Simba, my dog and cat, are my kids. In addition, I am blessed with wonderful parents and friends. Even so, occasionally I ponder whether having a life partner would be pleasant.
A politically significant Koirala family gave birth to Manisha in Kathmandu. Former minister Prakash Koirala is his father. From the late 1950s to the early 1960s, both of his uncles, Girija Prasad Koirala and Matrika Prasad Koirala, served as prime ministers of Nepal, as did his paternal grandfather, Bishweshwar Prasad Koirala.
Manisha on Becoming a Single Mom
The actor also discussed motherhood in the same interview, expressing her desire to raise a child alone if she had the confidence to do so.
“I know how much responsibility you have to shoulder to raise a child in this world,” Manisha said. I’ll take action the moment I have faith in my ability to succeed as a single mother. I want to pursue my many interests and the freedom I currently have, but given my health history, I’m only willing to do that if I can also be a parent. I’d love to do that if I could focus.
