On Friday, Madhuri Dixit organised a prayer gathering in Mumbai in memory of her late mother Snehlata Dixit. She was accompanied by her son Riyan and spouse Dr. Shriram Nene. Several professionals from the industry, both those who worked with him and those who did not, came to show their support for the actor’s mother. Arriving at the location together were Vidya Balan, Siddharth Roy Kapur, Jackie Shroff, the longstanding co-star of Siddharth Roy Kapur, Ram Lakhan and Hum Aapke Hain Koun director Subhash Ghai, and Sooraj Barjatya.
Madhuri Dixit’s mother Snehlata Dixit passed away on March 11 at the age of 90.

On March 11, Snehlata Dixit passed away. 90 years old was she. “Our beautiful Aai (mother), Snehalata, passed away peacefully this morning surrounded by her loved ones,” Madhuri and Shriram Nene said in a statement on Saturday. The actor has a senior brother and two senior sisters. At the age of 91, his father Shankar Dixit passed away in 2013.
