Following his debut on Monday, Consuelos also gave himself a pat on the back.
He earlier told Us Weekly that “the show definitely felt like home today.”
“Kelly and I always make me feel at home, but this morning [working together] just felt so perfect.
After his first week of co-hosting “Live With Kelly & Mark,” Kelly Ripa expressed her “great pride” in Mark Consuelos.

The 52-year-old “Riverdale” actor claimed he and Ripa “always” feel “comfortable” together and that he feels “fortunate” that they get to do it “every day.”
In February, it was revealed that Ryan Seacrest will be leaving the show after six years, and Consuelos was designated as his formal successor.
“It’s similar to what [Kelly] and I have been discussing for a while, and the decision was quite difficult. We had a conversation last year, and I made the decision to make this my final year as a co-host,” 48-year-old Seacrest revealed to viewers on a “Live” broadcast.”
According to an exclusive revelation by Page Six, ABC has been courting Consuelos for some time.
Following their debut performance as a married couple, some criticised them for their “false humour,” while others declared they “love them together.”
They’ve also drawn criticism for their on-air PDA and a brief filming week, but these things happen all the time because the hosts’ other projects cause timetables to change.
In a different interview this week, Consuelos stated that he is both open to eventually getting along with the audience and that he isn’t.
“Great, if it’s excellent. On SiriusXM’s “The Jess Cagle Show with Julia Cunningham,” the former soap opera star added, “If it’s not so fantastic, we’ll try better next time.” And that’s how I see it. Simply live in the now.
