Lance Reddick’s tragic passing on Friday prompted Halle Berry to tweet a heartfelt remembrance to her John Wick co-star. Berry posted on Instagram on Saturday, expressing her sympathies to the family and to everyone who knew and loved Lance. I’ll never forget Lance’s warm embrace and wide smile when I initially arrived on the John Wick set. Lance Reddick, who played John Wick in the film, died on Friday.
According to People, a US-based media outlet, the Moonfall actor shared a black and white image of the late actor that his wife, Stephanie Reddick, had uploaded on Saturday. Halle reacted to Stefani’s article “The family is in my thoughts and prayers during this difficult time. One of the most trustworthy persons I’ve ever encountered was Lance. Definitely unique! Goodbye, Dear King.”
In a statement, Reddick’s management acknowledged that he passed away on Friday. At his Los Angeles home, the actor was discovered dead. Reddick, 60, started his career in the 1990s with appearances on programmes including The West Wing and New York Undercover. At age 29, he applied to Yale University to study drama and eventually graduated. He had started to gain roles in local theatre.
She originally appeared in New York for David Simon’s The Corner project, an HBO miniseries that was released two years prior to Simon’s The Wire. Reddick has also worked on the Netflix Resident Evil series, Comedy Central’s Corporate, and FX’s American Horror Story. He was a member of the SAG-nominated ensemble cast of Regina King’s One Night in Miami.
