The biggest admirer of Jake Gyllenhaal has spoken up.
His girlfriend, Jeanne Cadieu, gave a heartfelt homage to the actor three days after he and Denzel Washington’s Broadway production of William Shakespeare’s Othello had its debut on March 23.
The March 26 post, which included a heartwarming picture of Jeanne, 28, and Jake, 44, holding hands at the Barrymore Theatre in New York City, started, “Happy to have spent opening night with some of my favorite people.” “I am proud of you, my darling, and I will treasure every second we have together along the way. and will always be there to run lines beside you!”
In the picture, Jeanne looked stunning in a black silk gown with a high neck and few accessories, while Jake, who plays Iago in the military-themed play, donned an all-black suit. The family reunion that evening continued as the French model posted a picture of herself on the red carpet grinning and hugging Jake’s godmother, Jamie Lee Curtis.
Backstage, where the pair posed for pictures with Jake’s older sister Maggie Gyllenhaal, her husband Peter Sarsgaard, and their teenage daughters Roma and Gloria, the support continued.
Jeanne has already supported Jake’s Broadway endeavors, having attended the premiere of his play Sea Wall/The Life in August 2019. The pair, who began dating in 2018, have had several public date nights since then, including an appearance at the 2023 French Open together, despite their well-known privacy.
The Southpaw star also discusses whether he thinks the longstanding couple will get married when they are not going out.
