The author Yasir Usman has made a remark regarding the recent Rekha news. Rekha: The Untold Story, a biography of Rekha written by Yasser, was released in 2016. Recently, it was stated in a number of sources that Rekha and her manager Farzana had a live-in relationship.

Yasir Usman finally spoke up about the situation and refuted Rekha’s allegations of a live-in relationship. On Twitter, he wrote: “Quotes from my book “Rekha The Untold Story” that claim to be about a “live-in relationship” are utter fabrications, false representations, and outright lies that are obviously intended to stir up controversy. I firmly assert that none of the quotes referenced in the media pieces can be found in my book.”
The phrases “live-in relationship,” “hermetic existence,” or “biography alleging the relationship was sexual” are never used in the manuscript, he said. He further noted, “Every few years, new instances of these misquotes that were the consequence of lousy clickbait journalism pop out. We won’t hesitate to file a lawsuit against the outlets involved if these remarks falsely attributed to me or my book “Rekha The Untold Tale” are not removed right away.”
He tweeted the assertion on the microblogging platform as well, “The disregard for fact-checking in clickbait journalism is revolting. They frequently target women. a declaration.”
