At the 95th Academy Awards, Shaunak Sen’s documentary Everything That Breathes Navalny was passed over for the Best Documentary Feature Oscar. After watching both movies, filmmaker Hansal Mehta has now voiced his opinion on Twitter, claiming that All That Breathes is “far more cinematic” than Navalny’s. Navalny was described as “very unremarkable as a movie” by director Daniel Rohr.
