Sara Ali Khan plays Misha, a young woman who travels back to her family’s house only to discover something is wrong after her father disappears in the upcoming film Gaslight. His stepmother Rukmini (Chitrangada Singh) and the other estate occupants all assert that nothing has changed. Nevertheless, as time goes on, Meesha begins to see glimpses of his father and worries that he is in danger. While she has reported what she has observed to the police, they do not believe her. He must determine whether or not he has been murdered and who might have killed him.
The film Gaslight, directed by Pavan Kripalani, suggests that either someone is playing a game with Misha or there is something evil that she is the only one who can see. The film’s trailer was released last week, and it depicted the three leads ‘accidentally’ running into each other in an elevator on the way to a set visit. When everyone realises they’ve come for the same reason, the power goes out, trapping them within.
The debut of Gaslight for Disney+ Hotstar is set for March 31. Saif Ali Khan, Arjun Kapoor, Jacqueline Fernandez, and Yami Gautam starred in the director’s last film, the horror comedy Bhoot Police. He directed Radhika Apte in Phobia (2013) and made his directing debut with Ragini MMS (2011). (2016).
Sara starred in Atrangi Re (2021) alongside Akshay Kumar and Dhanush, directed by Aanand L. Rai. Ae Watan Mere Watan, Murder Mubarak, and Metro are among his other works. Expect a Dino movie to hit theatres this year.
