As he strolls through the halls of his alma mater, Delhi University’s Saint Stephen’s College, actor-composer Moses Kaul, who plays Sharan Gujral from the web series Class, says, “I don’t know how much I’m making sense out of; The nostalgia is really overwhelming.”

Not another brick in the wall as Kaul strikes a pose while visiting his alma mater R.
In order to make it to the morning lecture, Kaul recalls “racing through these corridors,” as they were affectionately known as “Roses with an M.” According to the Economics (Hons) graduate, “I had a love affair with physics and math at first, but economics became an arranged marriage of sorts for me, which I fell in love with afterwards. I didn’t choose physics, among other things, because my father told me I wouldn’t have time for anything else. And it proved to be accurate. Before, students in science classes and labs were dismissed at 5 o’clock. The actor takes Sharan to an old ‘class’ room.
Enjoying your favorite dishes from the College Cafe is a must for a trip down memory lane. I don’t think I’ve ever had a minced cutlet that was so wonderful, Kaul exclaims while chewing.
He passes a kiosk selling samosas and other items as he moves on toward the Science Block. “The man who managed the kiosk died a few years ago; She was a landmark. The kiosk was permanently closed after that, he says.Kaul enjoys Misse Cutlet at the college cafe.
When asked if he was a member of the Woodhouse Society, the college’s covert society, Kaul coyly replies, “I can neither affirm nor deny whether I was a part of it or not. I once went to college there. Probably left a covert trace in… Although it has been painted over, something green and fascinating is visible below!Throughout it all, Kaul is surrounded by the college’s current class of students who are asking for his autograph, taking his picture, and hoping to strike up a quick conversation. “It’s astounding – the sort of love people are heaping on me,” Kaul said, describing the situation as strange. They have been so sweet to greet me here, my juniors. I hope they acknowledge me as a former participant in the event. I’ll call you as.”A sepia tone of nostalgia hits the actor-composer in the corridors of his college.
Like everyone else, Kaul believes that his time in college greatly influenced the kind of person he is today. “I believe that when you’re in college, you shop for personalities. St. Stephen’s is notoriously reclusive. Nonetheless, you come across a lot of people with various viewpoints in this setting. I believe that my personality is based on this inquiry and knowledge. And I directed my focus toward the sanctuary using those experiences.”In response, Kaul hastened to emphasize that his experiences as a privileged, confused, and disturbed college student were far from a haven. “In real life, I’m not that dark. Wow, you’re not such a dark, disturbed person, everyone who meets me remarks.”A refreshing glass of lemonade for Kaul to beat the heat of the capital.
