Most of us have watched a few Friends episodes throughout our lifetimes, if not all of them. We can all relate to their daily hardships; we have all cried, laughed, and felt every other emotion with them. One of the most well-known American sitcoms, “Friends,” gave us a group of six friends online when we most needed them. We now have a fan-made video where the Friends cast appears to have been shot in Bollywood. Too happy to care? Moving ahead!
For those who are not familiar, Friends stars Courteney Cox as Monica Geller, David Schwimmer as Ross Geller, Matt LeBlanc as Joey Tribbiani, and Phoebe Buffay as Lisa Kudrow. Rachel Green is portrayed in the programme by Jennifer Aniston.
We just came across a fan-made movie that speculates on how Friends may have seemed if it had ever been done in Bollywood. The editor of a video posted on Instagram with the handle “femmeselfcarez” may have made a better choice for the Friends cast in the Indian adaptation by adding clips of various Bollywood celebrities. Juhi Chawla portrays Phoebe Buffay (played by Lisa Kudrow), Aamir Khan portrays Chandler Bing (played by Matthew Perry), Salman Khan portrays Joey Tribbiani (played by Matt LeBlanc), Urmila Matondkar portrays Rachel Green (played by Jennifer Aniston), and Akshay Kumar portrays David Schwimmer (played by Ross Geller) and Monica Geller (played by (Courteney Cox).
We don’t think it can get any better than this, and well, netizens think so too. As soon as the video went viral, social media users showered their comments on the video. One of them wrote, “Whoever made this deserves an applause”.
Another commented, “I was gasping so hard!!! It fits perfect! Just right!”
A third wrote, “I totally adore this cast. That’s perfect 😭😭”
One of them even suggested and wrote, “It is very apt but I also think Sonali Bendre is Monica and Tabu is Phoebe…”
