For Bollywood celebrities, Koffee With Karan has always been a Pandora’s box. If somebody made a statement during the performance, it will be recorded in the cold war and feud history. Emraan Hashmi and Aishwarya Rai Bachchan had a history similar to this, and it all began when the Murder actor referred to the Sarabjit actress as “plastic” on Karan Johar’s show.

Aishwarya has frequently been made fun of for her accent on several platforms, but Hashmi went above and beyond. He was asked, “Name one actor/actress who comes to your mind when I word plastic,” during the show’s iconic rapid-fire round. The Jannat actor said “Aishwarya Rai Bachchan” without even pausing for a second.

Mahesh Bhatt and Karan Johar, who were on the show with their Raaz actor, were astonished by his response. Nonetheless, Hashmi later expressed regret for his remarks on the show. To learn what he apologised for, scroll down.

I didn’t mean it, Emraan Hashmi stated in an interview with HT. Aishwarya is someone I adore. The show’s structure is as follows. I am unable to speak and overcome the barrier. I adore him. I’ve always admired his work greatly. I anticipated that it would be exaggerated, but so what? People frequently make a great deal out of absurdity.

The actor also accused Karan Johar of uttering strange things on the programme. The actor explained, “It’s that show,” adding, “Karan inspires you to say these things,” in a subsequent interview with Zoom.

Ash, however, did not pardon Imran for doing this. The actress claimed that being referred to as “artificial and plastic” is the worst thing she has ever heard in an interview with Filmfare in 2019.

Aishwarya Rai Bachchan’s next film will be Ponniyin Selvan 2, while Emraan Hashmi is preparing for Salman Khan’s Tiger 3.
