Sunny and Poonam Dhillon, who starred as the leading couple in the 1984 romance Sohni Mahiwal, reunited at the wedding celebration of Sunny Deol’s eldest son, actor Karan Deol, last month. Rajveer Deol and Paloma, his two small children, were with him. In the upcoming romance drama Dono, directed by Barjatya, Rajveer and Paloma Avneesh S. will be seen making their acting debuts alongside one another.

On Tuesday, Dono’s producers unveiled the movie’s teaser. This love story appears to take place on an island during a vacation wedding. Boy Dev (Rajveer), a friend of the bride, meets girl Meghna (Paloma), a friend of the groom. He discusses rejection at the start of the teaser. The couple then exchanges vows through a succession of destination wedding rituals, such as pheras and haldi ceremonies, during which guests wear yellow clothing.
Avnish S Barjartya’s Directorial Debut
First-time director Dono Avneesh S. Barjatya worked with acclaimed director Sooraj R. Barjatya has younger sons. Prem Ratan Dhan Payo and Unchai, two of Sooraj’s prior films, both had Avneesh as an associate director. The final portion of the teaser makes a reference to Sooraj’s 1994 hit film Hum Aapke Hain Koun, in which the bride’s sister Nisha (Madhuri Dixit) and the groom’s brother Prem (Salman Khan) fall in love during a grand Indian wedding.
