Yuzcendra Chahal, a cricket player, and YouTuber Dhanashree Verma have finalized their divorce following months of court struggle.
“The marriage has been dissolved and the divorce is finalized,” Yuzcendra’s attorney informed reporters outside the Bandra family court. To complete their divorce, Dhanashree and Yuzvendra showed up at the court separately.
The family court was previously instructed by the Bombay High Court to rule on the couple’s divorce case by March 20 because Yuzvendra might not be available starting on March 21 due to his IPL obligations.
One installment of Rs 2.37 crores has already been paid out of the Rs 4.75 crore total alimony that Dhanashree is due. Given that their divorce has been discussed since 2022, both parties will be relieved by the accelerated process.
